Our Vaccination Policy

Complete Care for Kids is dedicated to providing the best care possible for our patients, their families, and our community.  We strive to provide comprehensive and compassionate health care.  The pediatricians at Complete Care for Kids believe that this type of care includes vaccinations.  Vaccinating children is the single most important preventative measure we can take in keeping our patients healthy.

We respect the parents’ role in ultimately making all decisions regarding their child’s care. However, we believe it is our duty to deliver the safest healthcare possible for our patients.  We no longer feel comfortable as a practice supporting any alteration of the current vaccination schedule formulated by the Centers for Disease Control and the American Academy of Pediatrics.

We feel those patients not adhering to the recommended vaccination schedule are being put at risk of life threatening illness or death.

At each well visit pediatric exam you will be presented with a copy of the Vaccination Information Statement created by the Centers for Disease Control.  Please discuss any questions regarding vaccinations with our pediatricians.  We understand that health care choices can be very emotional for some parents.  We will do everything we can to help you understand that vaccinating according to the schedule is the best thing you can do for your child(ren).

All patients in the practice are henceforth required to adhere to the vaccination schedule determined by the American Academy of Pediatrics and Centers for Disease Control or comply with the “catch up” schedule as determined by the Centers for Disease Control.

If you feel you can not comply with this policy, we will ask you to find another health care provider who shares your views.  We do not keep a list of such healthcare providers nor would we recommend any such healthcare providers.

Thank you for taking the time to read this policy.  We look forward to maintaining the utmost standard of care for your child.  Please feel free to discuss any questions or concerns regarding vaccines for children with our female pediatrician doctors.
